Yes. Ipswich City Council offers on-demand large item kerbside collection to eligible properties. It is booked on demand, so there is no single public collection date for the whole suburb. Confirm your address before relying on the service.

The service uses a 2 cubic metre FLEXiSKiP bag with a total weight limit of 165 kilograms.
Council says bag delivery takes up to 10 business days. The bag must be filled and collection booked within 21 days, with collection generally taking 1 to 10 business days.
The official list includes furniture, mattresses, appliances, carpet, some timber, garden organics and selected masonry. Hazardous waste, food waste, batteries, tyres and broken glass are excluded.
Most residents with a wheelie-bin collection and at least 4 metres of unobstructed kerb access are eligible. Some unit complexes, rural properties and inaccessible sites are excluded.
Do not place items out until Council or its contractor has confirmed the booking and presentation instructions.
