Council advises planning ahead because the next available date may be up to four weeks away. Items must not be placed out before the night preceding the confirmed date.
Furniture, mattresses, whitegoods, carpet and bundled garden material are among the accepted items. Building waste, hazardous materials, vehicle parts, glass and overly heavy items are excluded.
The property must pay for a Council waste service and the person booking must live at the property. Strata and real-estate managers cannot book on a resident's behalf.
Do not place items out until Council or its contractor has confirmed the booking and presentation instructions.
